We had the good fortune of connecting with Twan Gotti and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Twan, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Hard work, dedication, studying, and investing have been a big part of my success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most proud of being able to help others and put them in positions to become entrepreneurs. It took a while to get where I am now but the only way I could make it here is by learning the ins and outs of my crafts and staying consistent. I’m dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering their entrepreneurial spirit. Everyone has the potential to succeed, and I strive to provide the guidance, resources, and inspiration needed to turn dreams into reality. Whether you’re looking for practical tips, personal stories, or expert advice, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d say Newport on the Levee, it has a mixer of everything around that area.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes, I’d love to give a Shoutout to Elementz Hip-Hop Youth Center for giving me an opportunity to help guide and keep the youth out of the streets.
