I would say that that most important factor in the success of this business is the passion i feel for our local landscapes. My main mission is to get humans back onto the landscape in a positive way, whether this is gathering food, picking up trash or removing invasive species, anytime i am able to make someone think about nature, wild food and local landscapes in a different way, i feel like i succeeded. The most important factor behind my success has to be consistency. When I first started out and really wanted to grow I committed to posting every day for 30 days no matter what. After 30 days I was seeing some success so I decided to try for 30 more and before I knew it, it just became ingrained in me and I haven’t ever really stopped. So even on the busiest days or hard days I try to stay as consistent as possible. That doesn’t mean I can’t take a day off here and there but overall I have to remain consistent with the things I do for my business each day. The nice thing about consistency though is that over time it really just becomes habit and part of your daily routine. So in the beginning it takes discipline to remain consistent but over time it becomes part of my day to day and it’s easier to stick to. Read more>>
