Meet Danielle Nicole | Jewelry Designer & Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Nicole and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to create statement jewelry that makes people feel empowered. Nothing sets off an outfit quiet like the right piece of jewelry! I want my clients to feel like their best, while wearing in a piece of Nontle Jewelry.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
1. What sets me a part is that I never duplicate a piece of Nontle Jewelry. Every single piece has it’s own story, vibe and is a conversation piece.
My photography tells the stories of how I see the world as a solo female traveler.
2. I’m most proud of my 1st solo gallery show, Nontle Lens. It allowed me to showcase my both my passions, by sharing the photos that inspired the jewelry. This opportunity was provided by The Maroon Arts Group.
3. I’m where I am today, by allowing my creativity the space to eb and flow. I had to understand the creativity isn’t always in the medium that I thought it would be. For example, when I feel creativity stuck with jewelry I give myself the permission to explore other creative outlets. When my mind is open, I became a better artist.
4. The most important lesson I learned is this perspective: some will, some won’t, so what, someone is waiting.
Some will=current collector
Some won’t=potential referrals
So what=everything ain’t for everybody
Someone’s waiting=future collector
5. I want the world to know that, I want each and every 1 of my collector to feel like they have pieces of jewelry that speak directly to their soul, pieces that they just couldn’t live without.
