We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Zimmerman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Morgan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I had been in numerous weddings where we got ready in a really small bridal suite, a hotel room, in someone’s living room, or we had to go to the salon the morning of. It was never enjoyable because we were extremely crammed or we had to drive all over the place. It always ended with everyone being stressed out right before the ceremony. On top of that, the getting ready pictures (that the bride spent so much money on) never turned out good because these spaces were not designed for weddings. That’s when the idea of a mobile salon came to my mind. Our mobile salon solves all these problems! It can comfortably fit bridal parties up to 12 people, we bring it to the bride, and it’s designed for the occasion so your getting ready pictures turn out amazing! On top of that, we offer the top wedding stylists in the area to make it the most enjoyable and hassle-free getting ready experience on the market!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets us apart from other beauty businesses is we offer a one-of-a-kind mobile salon along with our incredibly talented hair stylists, make-up artists, and nail technicians. Instead of being crammed in a small bridal suite or hotel room, having to get ready in your kitchen where you usually eat, or be stressed out from having to drive all over town to a salon, we bring the salon to our clients the day of their big event! Our mobile salon is a 31 foot airstream that we renovated into the perfect getting ready space. With a large seating space up front, 3 service stations to do hair/makeup, a large counter space and fridge for food and drinks, and a bathroom in the back, it’s the ultimate, hassle-free getting ready experience for any party up to 12 people. The mobile salon is perfect for any event, whether it be a wedding, birthday party, or homecoming/prom. We have had so much fun bringing incredible experiences to our clients and we can’t wait to keep doing it!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our stylists – they provide such an amazing experience for our brides by being incredibly responsive, fun, relaxed, and always early. On top of that, they do absolutely beautiful work so our brides feel stunning and confident walking down the aisle. We truly have the most wonderful team!

Everyone that helped Jared (my business partner) with renovating the airstream. It was a massive project and there were so many people (more than I can name) that helped along the way. They took an old, beat up 1972 airstream trailer, completely gutted it, and built it from the ground up into what is now our one-of-a-kind mobile salon. On top of that, they’re doing it a second time as our second mobile salon is almost done and will be ready for the 2024 wedding season!
