We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Rudolph and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
When you have been told that your child may die you develop a different strength and motivation. You have no choice but to humble yourself and go to God for help. Once you see who is in control there is no reason to give up. Just go to the one that gives you the help you need .I listen to my inner spirit and voice that gave me the vision. It allows me to continue to move forward even when I don’t have all the answers. It also is knowing that a higher power is in charge of this vision and I am just a vessel. My motivation to continue is waiting to see the vision that was given to me brought to fruition.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am apart of Throne of Grace Productions and the star of their independent film Unbreakable Marriage coming out this Summer. I also wrote a childrens book called William Wiggle Worm that empowers children to calm their own bodies and to live in their individuality. I am the founder of a non profit called Sistah’s acts of kindness that helps black and brown children with any learning behavioral or mental struggles in the school system with an act of kindness. I am excited and proud of each of these accomplishments because they allow me to walk in my purpose and make me happy. When you are working in your purpose you are naturally balanced. Being off balance is a clue you aren’t working in your purpose. Seeing others enjoy something I created makes me happy. I enjoy theatre and acting on stage because I can hear the audience laugh and their positive reaction to something I said or did. I love to cook because it makes me happy seeing someone enjoy something I made. When I watch someone read my book and smile it makes me feel fulfilled. I like giving thoughtful gifts because it makes me happy to see your face light up when it is opened. I love giving someone a compliment and watching them smile. I enjoy serving others in the community because it allows me to watch a frown change to a smile. Happiness, joy ,light is a gift from God and I let his light shine through me as long as he allows me to.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
