Hi Lisa, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to have the freedom to create something that I was truly passionate about and to make a positive impact on the world. Money was not my driving force, but rather the opportunity to pursue my dreams and build something meaningful. I believe that when you follow your passion and stay true to your values, success will naturally follow. Starting my own business has allowed me to have control over my own destiny and to live a life that is fulfilling and purposeful.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With unwavering determination, I have been persistently striving to establish my business for the past seven years, solely relying on my own financial resources. Despite facing the threat of eviction multiple times, I remained resolute and unwavering in my commitment to the success of my venture. Although my business growth has been slow at times, I maintain a positive outlook, firmly believing that one day it will flourish exponentially. In due time, I envision not just one, but multiple locations for my business. This showcases my grit and determination, two essential qualities necessary for entrepreneurial success.

What makes Polished And Pretty Nail Bar unique is my commitment to building close relationships with my customers. I take the time to understand their individual needs and customize appointments to cater to those needs. Additionally, I offer quarterly discounted services to firefighters, doctors, police officers, and EMT employees as a way to show my appreciation for their service.I also stand out by using low odor and FDA approved products, promoting and maintaining healthy nails.

I believe that everyone deserves to feel pampered and cared for, regardless of their income level. I am confident that I can make a positive impact on the lives of those who are often overlooked in the luxury service industry.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a hard one because I am such a homebody, after a full day of work I much rather take a hot bath and relax.
