We had the good fortune of connecting with Erin Nagle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erin, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
I’d say my work life balance has definitely improved since the start of my career. I love to travel, which sometimes is hard while having a full clientele-but I have come to realize it helps me to not experience burnout. This past year I’ve been able to take vacations it least once a month, all thanks to my clients & it truly makes coming back to work more enjoyable. There are still events I miss or activities I don’t get to attend, but having clientele that you truly enjoy servicing, makes your job much more rewarding.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been an esthetician for over two years now, & I am most proud of myself for my consistency.
I am excited to host more classes, whether that’s one on one classes for other estheticians, or classes for individuals to take to grow their knowledge with skincare.
I am going to be adding on a buccal massage facial within the next few months, which I am super happy to start.
Lessons that I have learned while being in this industry is to stay true to yourself and be confident in who you are, no one can do it like you do!
Trust in yourself & know that if you ever “fail” or feel as if something didn’t work out the way you had planned, God has an even greater plan for you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love going to Washington park, whether it’s to sit, read, do yoga, etc. If I had a friend visiting I would take them there, & then to coffee at Mom N Em. My favorite places to eat are Sotto, Pepp N Delores, Mamas on Main, Al Posto, & The Pony.
Some places I love going to are Findley Market, The Cincinnati Zoo, & The Starlight Drive in.
My favorite places to go out and have a drink would be Thursday nights @ Nostalgia, Frankie’s Sips & Savories, or E+O.
Sports games that I’d take someone to would be an FC game, Bengals game or a Smith League game.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The love & support from my friends & family have helped me grow into who I am today. The people I have surrounded me are the most genuine, amazing people & I have been so blessed!
Almost all of my clientele I have now were previously strangers, the connections and relationships we have formed over the years make me excited to go to work everyday & I can’t wait to meet more individuals.
