Hi Sydney Busa &, how do you think about risk?
Risk is inherently a scary thing, so scary it can leave us as balls of stress at night, but the truth is without risk there would be no sacrifice and nothing gained by committing yourself to all the trials life has to offer.

We think that is a extraordinary thing.

As young entrepreneurs taking risks plays a role in most of our decisions and we see it as an opportunity to push some boundary, either personally, emotionally, or financially. There is no better example of our willingness to take on life’s challenge than our cross-country move that gave us this chance at success. We packed up all our things from our home in California and flew ourselves into our new community of Parma.

We couldn’t be happier.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are most excited about this opportunity to open a new Grocery Outlet in the Parma community as it will allow us to put our time and love into the people and other small businesses. It wasn’t easy getting here, we have spent so many nights worrying over decisions made, but we wake up every morning knowing we can make a difference if we just keep moving forward. We hope people will come to know us as positive influences for everyone.

We’ve learned a number of lessons along the way, but the most important is to be prepared for when you are lucky. What we mean by that is to spend every day knowing life will give you a chance, but you must be patient, success has never come to us by rushing in blind, and you must spend every moment before then preparing yourself to make the most of it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be honest, we are still very new to the area so we have had only a few chances to check out different venues, but we would love to shout out Parma Tavern. They have hosted us a couple times and are always a delight!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The people who have had the greatest impact on us include our families who taught us how to be good humans and all the Independent Operators who taught us how to be good business people. As we were young, our families encouraged us to take chances and learn from our mistakes. As we worked our way in to business, our fellow Operators honed our abilities to reason financially and capture great opportunities as they come our way.
