Hi Arslan, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Consistency, transparency, and learning through failure. Consistency in the commitment for the continuation of my company. Customers need the consistency they can depend on to not change. This gives them the transparency they need to be confident in the trust they put into my company. The failures that have come with the success of the business is nothing but learning stones. Stones that have helped guide the business to a brighter and longer future.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ijaz Jewelers has been in business for over a decade and a half. It has given me great pleasure in knowing customers believe in me, and are confident in the product I sell. I put a 100% transparency in my company, and consistency with my customer service. It is my full belief that if a customer is fully satisfied it becomes ten fold. I am extremely proud of the reputation that our company has built, and has worked hard to maintain. There were plenty of times when quitting was a step away. However, the thought of letting go, was harder than the thought of striving to do better for my family. Being the leader of may own company has always been my dream, and working with precious metals and gemstones has always been my dream. Running a company is never easy, there is no handbook. Employee expectations, customer expectations, and the most crucial of all, my own expectations. A leader is one who helps guides and leads. Being the owner not only means leading my company, but guiding my team members to build for the better for the full potential of my company. Buy and trust from local owned companies. I guarantee, when you buy certain items from local companies you help give them a future to provide honest and sincere customer service. Because in the end that is what every local company trying to flourish has as it’s goal; Customer satisfaction, though hard work and consistency.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are the Sparkling City by the Bay, aside from having 5 star Sea Food dining, The Coastal Bend has some iconic places to not only visit, but that uphold the of United States Navy. The Top 3 historical places to visit is The Lexington, a retired navy battleship that upholds is worth while maintaining its handsome looks as it graciously floats at the bay. The Lexington is a great place to not only learn about its contribution to US military, taking breathtaking scenic pictures, but eating at an awesome eatery at the Mess Deck Cafe. The second iconic place to visit is non other than our local celebrity known nation wide for her artistic talent and amazing voice, Selena Quintanilla, whose history can be seen displayed at the Selena Museum, she is best known as the Queen of Tejano. Despite being dead for more than two decades she is still widely known ,and acknowledged and brings in hundreds of thousands of tourist every year. Her befitting statue can be seen on ocean drive to be taken selfies with. For shopping the best for last is held as it contains everything a tourist visiting wanting to see taste and go shopping for. The Trade Center, known as one of Corpus Christi’s oldest buildings and shopping places to see has more than 100 local vendors who open their shops to visitors and local shoppers alike. Each store selling thousands of different items that appeals most to each individual shopper. On top of having millions of things to shop for it has amazing street food located inside and out of the building. As people patiently wait in lines until each turn comes up to order what their appetite yearns for. There is always something to do, someone to see and something to eat at the Corpus Christi Trade Center.
