We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Meenach and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I started my business, I realized there was a bit of a hole in the beauty market. We had all of these great stylists and artists in the area, but for a busy women, the idea of getting ready for a special event or marketing video and having to go to different places for makeup, hair, and wardrobe, was overwhelming. I started Boundless Beauty with the idea that I would help women feel their best, while also offering convenience. So now, you can get makeup, hairstyling and wardrobe all in one place! And by renting your wardrobe, you are saving money, and space in your closet!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started out in beauty about ten years ago. I had a little one chair hair salon in Newport Ky. After a few years of doing hair, I realized that wasn’t where my passion was. What I enjoyed was really boosting someone’s confidence, showing them the mirror and hearing them gasp at how great the looked and felt. When the pandemic hit I knew it was the perfect time to close my salon. When I re-opened in 2021, I opened as just a makeup and hairstyling studio. After a couple years I realized that a lot of the jobs I was working on, women also needed a lot of help choosing wardrobe options, or even picking out what to wear. This is when the idea of a full service styling studio was born. I have spent the last 3 years building a closet consisting of gorgeous formal dresses, business suites, shoes, purses and jewelry. I’ve transformed my space into a relaxing, creative area and is welcoming and inviting. I want people to have an EXPERIENCE.

It hasn’t been easy. I don’t think any business owner can say that building their brand has been easy, especially when you’re busting into something new in the area, but I CAN say it has absolutely 100% been worth it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Cincinnati is such a cool city to live. As the city grows, it’s really tapping into the creative side of things. We recently had an amazing weekend long light show called BLINK, which is a total must see! We would definitely hit up Over the Rhine for some shopping and lunch at Alcove. In the evening we might go see a show at music hall, or if the weather is nice a concert at Riverbend, to end the night a nice dinner at Incline Public House with the best view of the city would be a must! We also have some of the best museums around! I love this city and all it has to offer

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In my journey, I think the biggest impact and support I’ve had over the last couple years is from the Aviatra women’s accelerator program. This is a 10 week business program ran by Jill Morenz and Jasmine Hughes in the Cincinnati area. Their entire mission is to help women owned business network and grow through building a pitch, business plan, and using resources to network with other in the community. I learned so much through the program, and I still lean on my Aviatra classmates as well as Jill and Jasmine from time to time!
