Hi Beatriz, how does your business help the community?
Unfortunately, for a very long time self-care has been associated with being selfish. That mindset has shifted. Our spa sets the tone by promoting wellness, mental health, and self-care. We provide a safe space where people can relax, recharge, and reconnect with themselves — something that’s especially important in today’s fast-paced world. Our menu of services is designed to support beauty, wellness, and confidence from the inside out. We offer expert lash extensions, precision brow artistry, and customized facials to enhance your natural glow. For those looking to care for their overall well-being, we provide access to telehealth services — making wellness more convenient and accessible. We also host spa events that bring people together for relaxation, celebration, and self-care. Whether you’re looking for a quick beauty boost or a full day of pampering, our space is here to serve and uplift you.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been faced with numerous challenges. At the age of 35. I had a rare onset of Cauda Equina Syndrome. It brought on paralysis and a whole plethora of auto immune conditions that I must live with. Hospitalizations left and right have been my normal. Learning how to walk again, as well as learning how to live again with chronic illnesses while being a single mother of four sons certainly gave me the motivation to not give up. I have been blessed with the opportunity to mentor aspiring beauty professionals through Innerstate Beauty College and through everBEAuty Inc Dayspa. Growing up in the inner city, I saw firsthand how much of a difference the right guidance can make. I was fortunate to have great mentors who believed in me, challenged me, and helped me see possibilities beyond my environment. Their impact on my life lit a fire in me — not just to succeed, but to give back. That’s why I’m passionate about mentoring other upcoming entrepreneurs. I want to be the kind of support for others that I was blessed to receive, and help show that with the right mindset and guidance, anything is possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Of course, we would have to carve out time to indulge in selfcare at my Dayspa everBEAuty Inc!! Walks along Edgewater, baseball game downtown…there’s So Much!!

Having been a first generation born of immigrant parents from Mexico and Puerto Rico, my parents instilled in me the value of hard work as well as the tenacity required to execute my dream. I’m incredibly grateful for the mentorship and guidance I’ve received along the way as I began my journey in entrepreneurship at 23 yrs old. Jose Reyes (a well known Insurance Agent and Pastor in Cleveland) in my early years as a young Allstate Agency Owner taught me to be coachable. I retired at the age of 35 from that career, only to embark six years later into the beauty industry. Roberta Ritter, my instructor at Innerstate Beauty College gave me the support, wisdom, and belief in my vision. As a whole, the immense support received here in my hometown of Cleveland has been truly invaluable. It has been a true pleasure as a Latina on the West side raised on Clark Avenue to build a business for the community to be inclusive to all. It has shaped the way I lead, grow, and face challenges with confidence. I’m truly grateful for the time and experience invested into my success — I wouldn’t be here without you.”
