Meet Beverly Walthour | Business Strategist and Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Beverly Walthour and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Beverly, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was to create something in which I could have an impact on those around me. I wanted to be able to support female entrepreneurs in creating the type of business they’ve always wanted without compromising themselves in the process. With this being business #4 for me, with a background in teaching, training, and consulting, this was a natural fit for me. Being able to support these women in this capacity all around the globe has been one of the most fulfilling roles I’ve ever filled.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a Business Strategist for Established Christian Female Coaches and Service Providers for Coaches. They hire me to support them in creating 5-figure weeks and days without compromising their Christian Values.
Getting to this point in my business has been a process of truly embracing what’s important to me and how I want to do business. Although the journey has not always been easy, it has been worth it. The hardest part was when I was trying to do business the way other people were saying I was supposed to do it, which wasn’t in alignment with how I wanted to do things. This alignment includes incorporating my faith, working with my clients in a capacity that brings both me and them joy (mainly in groups), and building communities of female entrepreneurs.
I would love for the world to know that as a business owner, you can create a business that allows you the freedom and joy without compromising the things that are important to you.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take my friend to some “off the beaten path” places to eat and some of them have to include soul food since we are in the south. We would also do some live music festivals and attend church. Furthermore, we would head south to Destin, FL to experience the white sand and turquoise water!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people I would like to shout out, but the ones that come to mind are those female entrepreneurs who allowed me to be a part of their entrepreneurial journey. They entrusted me with the vision GOD gave them and I don’t take that lightly or for granted.
