Meet Bison Frank C. | Rap Artist/Motivational Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bison Frank C. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bison, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The key to my success has been all about renewing my mind and getting serious about my fitness, especially as I’m about to hit the big 4-0 on November 22, 2024. This journey has been a real eye-opener for me. I want the second half of my life to be the best one yet, so I’m all in on getting in the best shape possible.
I’ve had my share of setbacks, too. Dealing with injuries like a bad back and a broken leg has been tough, but they’ve only made me more resilient. Changing my mindset has helped me stay motivated and focused on my health. It’s about feeling good and enjoying life to the fullest. I love sharing my journey and hopefully inspiring others to take charge of their own health and happiness. It’s all about spreading positivity and good vibes in everything I do!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is really about sharing my journey and the experiences that have shaped who I am. What sets me apart is how I weave my personal stories into my pieces, creating something that resonates deeply with others. I’m super proud of how my work can spark conversations and connect with people on a real level.
Getting to where I am today definitely wasn’t a walk in the park—though I’ve done a lot of walking in a lot of different parks along the way! I’ve faced my share of challenges, from self-doubt to figuring out how to balance everything in life. There were times when I wondered if I was on the right track, but I pushed through by surrounding myself with supportive people and sticking to my vision. Each bump in the road taught me a lot about resilience, creativity, and the power of community.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that it’s okay to be vulnerable in my art. Sharing my ups and downs has helped me grow as an artist and build a stronger connection with my audience.
I want everyone to know that my brand is all about being real and growing together. My story shows how perseverance can lead to beautiful things, and I hope my art inspires others to reflect on their own journeys. In the end, I want my work to remind people that we’re all in this together, navigating our paths and supporting each other along the way.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend visited for a week, we’d have a great time while I stick to my low-carb diet. Each day, we’d start with a hearty brunch, enjoying keto options for me and my friend’s favorites. After brunch, we’d get active with a walk or hike. I love the river walk or the causeway bridge walking trail. I love searching for nearby trails.
On day two, I’d have coffee and eggs, while my friend enjoys their breakfast. We’d visit an art gallery, have a salad lunch, and bike around before dinner.
Day three would include bacon and eggs, a hike with my packed lunch, a winery visit, and BBQ for dinner followed by a comedy show.
Day four would involve swimming, lunch at a beachside shack, and paddleboarding or volleyball, with dinner at a beachfront restaurant.
On day five, I’d have breakfast at a diner, visit a farmer’s market, and after lunch at a deli, we’d do an outdoor activity. Dinner would be at a themed restaurant.
Day 6 we’d start with a chill breakfast at a café with my low-carb choice. Then, we’d take a day trip to a nearby town, checking out sights and grabbing lunch. In the evening, we’d finish the week with a nice dinner to celebrate before my friend heads home. It’d be a perfect way to wrap up an awesome week!
On the last day, I’d treat myself to a meal with carbohydrates and we’d enjoy a home made breakfast. I’d send them off with low-carb snacks as a reminder of our fun week!
So basically we would eat a lot and be very active all week lol
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! I want to give a huge shoutout to my support system because they’ve played a massive role in my journey. First off, my family and friends have always been there, cheering me on and pushing me to be my best self. Their encouragement has meant the world to me, especially during the tough times when I was dealing with injuries.
I also have to give a big shoutout to Dr. Joe Dispenza and his amazing books, especially “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself.” That book really helped me shift my mindset and embrace positive change in my life.
And I can’t forget my partner, Royalty! Together, we started a support group where we merged our brands—his is #OGTCH (Only Good Things Can Happen) and mine is #YMBTP (You Might Be The Problem). We call our group “Only Good Problems Can Happen,” and it’s been awesome holding each other accountable to our goals and cheering each other on.
Plus, a big thank you to all the mentors and coaches who’ve guided me along the way. Their wisdom has kept me focused and motivated. Honestly, it’s the community around me that deserves all the credit. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them!
