Meet Chrissy Cavotta | Property Manager & Event Coordinator/Production Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chrissy Cavotta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chrissy, what do you want your legacy to be?
I absolutely love this question, and I think about this answer quite often. As much as I want to be a “bull” in business, that is just not who I am to the core. I want people to remember me as a kind and compassionate person who always treated everyone respectfully and fairly. Someone who showed honesty, integrity and levelheadedness in any given situation. Most importantly, I would like people to remember me for my relentless drive, motivation and passion for my craft.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am Chrissy Cavotta, owner of Events by Chrissy Cavotta, and I put my heart and soul into every event I produce. I am most proud of my organic ideas and the way they are executed. It really excites me to think about growing and expanding in the near future. My business is forever a work in progress, once you think you have it all figured out, you quickly realize you need to work even harder! Nothing worth having comes easy, you have to continuously overcome adversity in any type of business. A little advice to overcoming challenges would be to keep your eyes on the prize. Do not let the inconveniences, detours or road blocks throw you off of the path you are on to the end result.
A few lesson I have learned are :
1. People may not remember what you say but they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.
2. Being thankful for what you have can change your outlook on life.
3. Time is finite.
I’d like the world to know that Events by Chrissy Cavotta has a lot of unique themed events on the horizon and is just getting started!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Cleveland is SUCH an incredible city for food and entertainment! I would absolutely take my friend to Little Italy, The Botanical Gardens, Westside Market, East 4th Street, check out the Cleveland Orchestra, catch a show at Playhouse Square, hit a Browns/Cavs/Guardians game depending on the season, go down to the Flats East Bank, rent a kayak from Great Lakes Watersports on the West Bank and do a tour of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, just to name a few!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my Shoutout to every single person who ever supported me in any way. Shared one of my event flyers, purchased a ticket to attend, modeled in a fashion show, worked backstage, volunteered or even just shared words of encouragement on my journey!
