Meet Crystal Render | Classically trained Stylist & Chef

We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Render and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Crystal, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Authenticity,
I believe this and my faith wholeheartedly are the driving force for how I live my life & run my Businesses. Being genuine is very near and dear to me, because all I know how to be is ME! So, I try to lead every day with integrity & do my absolute best even when I don’t feel my best. Because being impeccable with your words & doing your best will always lead to success.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being creative has always been a big part of who I am! I’ve always been known to be the one who’s a lil EXTRA……. Over the years I’ve continued to find a way to use my creativity in everything I do. As a stylist I’m known to do the fun, fantasy colors and styles that have a distinct cut or flair. My days as a Chef were absolutely just as artistically inclined, by making signature dishes and finding out-the-box ways to display them! Art is everywhere, we just have to find a way to see the beauty within the things we encounter daily.
this perspective has keep me in the Beauty industry for 24 years, (wait, Omg has it really been that long! lol) & now has catapulted my catering company leaps and bounds in only a few short years. This artistic approach to food is what makes Magnificent Morsels so different from all other companies out there.
People have told me over and over this approach in Beauty & in Food wouldn’t last long term but here I am still CRUSHING IT!
None of the journey was easy or handed to me on a silver platter but, I wouldn’t change one thing about it because it built the person I am today.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would take a shopping spree in all the beautiful shops and boutiques Downtown, next a culinary tour of all the foodie hot spots in Cincy. Of course, visit the Banks, Newport on the Levee, Freedom Center & maybe even Kings Island.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Jacqueline Louderback, one of my former Co-workers unknowingly set me on the right path to really understanding my worth. She sat down and told me one day that I was way too good at being a stylist to not charge my true worth. Little did I know that would soon set the tone for the rest of my life.
