We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Render and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
As apparent, the most important thing I’ve ever done for my children was to show them that anything is possible. If you’re willing to work for it. Everything I’ve built thus far is to secure the life that I wanted to give them. And as a single mother, nothing means more to me than the fact that they have watched MMC grow from Sending out orders from using a home kitchen to serving three thousand employees for a large corporation. I believe wholeheartedly in leading by example and excuses are not an option.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I came in to the food and hospitality industry with a goal to change the face of catering. And that is exactly what I’m doing! Heck NO!, it wasn’t easy! But it is a joy and a passion that I wouldn’t change for anything in the world. With that being said, the beauty of Magnificent Morsels Catering is that it honestly started from my mother’s dream. And over time it turned into my passion and purpose. I now get to build this dream and bring it forth full throttle.
Needless to say, to have my mother witness it come to pass is absolutely MIND-BLOWING to me!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I definitely would take them on a culinary tour of Cincinnati to visit some of the best cafes and eateries this town has to offer……. We’d visit;

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I must shout out my Mortar & Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses family They are such a great inspiration for keeping my drive and perseverance high. Watching each one of them grow and scale daily is a true inspiration. And they keep me on my toes! On a more personal note, my mother will always be my greatest inspiration. Because watching her raise 7 children with little to no assets or resources. And do it so well, it’s nothing short of a miracle. She rarely asked for anything but always has been a resource for everyone. And that is truly inspirational.
