We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqueline Visalden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacqueline, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I think for as long as Ive been working, I have always seen and paid attention to what could be done better in the workplace. the more that I worked for others the more I just wanted to do my own thing because things just never added up. Im the kind of person that likes to figure out how things tick, motive and intention behind action produces results. So I knew there wasn’t another option for me but to create my own business, so that I can have purpose in my work

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is rooted in transformation—mind, body, and soul. What sets us apart is a communal approach we bring to personal evolution. We don’t just focus on fitness or nutrition in isolation. We have created a safe for people to be themselves, from all walks of life to find other like minded people and we build connections and relationships with our customers. Its not just grab your items and go, It’s not about quick fixes—it’s about real transformation, connection and growth.

Almost 10 years ago, I hit a breaking point. I was sick, tired, unmotivated, and out of shape—mentally, emotionally, and physically. That pain became the fuel for change. I partnered with Herbalife as a supplement distributor, lost 45 lbs got amazing results then I dove into studying everything from fitness to energy work and most recently neuroscience. Over time, I noticed I wasn’t the only one looking for something that had a lasting impact. That’s when I knew this wasn’t just my healing journey… it was my calling.

Was it easy? Absolutely not. Entrepreneurship has tested me in every way imaginable—from financial struggles to self-doubt to learning how to lead and serve at the same time. But every challenge taught me something, gratefully.

The biggest lesson? You can’t pour from an empty cup. Alignment, self-care, and staying connected to your “why” are non-negotiables, the mission will swallow you whole if you let it.

What I’m most proud of is the impact. Seeing people reclaim their energy, their confidence, their lives—it’s powerful. And I’m excited to keep expanding that reach, especially with the upcoming launch of my gym/studio up stairs from My cafe, which will be a physical space for this kind of transformation to take place.

What I want the world to know is this: You are not stuck. You are not broken. You are powerful beyond measure. And with the right tools, guidance, and support, you can completely rewrite your story.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Flats there is always good food and vibes on the East bank A baseball game in the summer and Edgewater park for the sunset is always a thing for me. I love the rock hall and show the entertainment is unmatched here in CLE
