Meet Jasmine Arrington | Mother & COO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Arrington and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, how does your business help the community?
The Trash Boys LLC is committed to making a lasting social impact through our wide range of services, including Trash 2 Curb, Trash 2 Bin, and city cleanups. We focus on supporting the most vulnerable members of our community—seniors, disabled individuals, and ill residents—who may face significant challenges in managing waste disposal independently. Our services provide not only convenience but also a critical safety net, helping to reduce the risk of falls and injuries, particularly during winter months when conditions are hazardous. By taking this burden off our clients’ shoulders, we enhance their safety and independence, allowing them to live with greater peace of mind. Additionally, our proactive approach to community care extends beyond individual services. We actively engage in city cleanups, demonstrating our commitment to environmental stewardship and neighborhood improvement. Our efforts help to keep streets and public areas clean, promoting a healthier and more beautiful city for everyone. This also supports local recycling initiatives and educates the community on sustainable practices, encouraging residents to take pride in maintaining clean and green spaces. Through our services, The Trash Boys LLC not only enhances the well-being of residents but also creates job opportunities, particularly for youth in the community. By providing employment, we invest in the future of our city, offering mentorship and skill-building opportunities that prepare our employees for successful careers and personal growth. We believe in building strong relationships and a sense of unity, demonstrating our commitment to making a positive, transformative impact on Cleveland and its surrounding areas. In every action we take, we strive to create a cleaner, safer, and more supportive environment for all. The Trash Boys LLC is more than just a service provider; we are a catalyst for positive change, working hand in hand with our community to improve lives and foster a sense of responsibility and care for the environment.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The story of The Trash Boys LLC began with a simple mission: to make a difference in our community by cleaning up the city. We started with city cleanups, walking the streets of Cleveland and the surrounding areas, picking up trash and litter to improve the environment for everyone. Our goal was to beautify our neighborhoods, promote a cleaner, healthier environment, and inspire others to take pride in their community. With determination and hard work, we tackled every cleanup project, no matter how big or small, driven by our passion for making a visible impact. As we continued our efforts, we noticed a recurring issue: many seniors and disabled residents struggled with managing their trash bins. We saw them trying to maneuver heavy bins to and from the curb, sometimes at great risk to their safety. Recognizing the need for support, we knew we could expand our mission beyond city cleanups. We decided to offer a dedicated service, Trash 2 Curb, to help these residents move their trash bins safely and conveniently. This was a natural extension of our commitment to community care—ensuring that our neighbors, especially the elderly and disabled, could live safely and with greater independence. The word about our efforts spread, and our dedication caught the attention of News 5 Cleveland. The local news station featured our story, highlighting our commitment to serving the community and providing a valuable service to those in need. This coverage helped us reach a broader audience, and soon, our story went viral on Facebook. People from all over began to notice our work, sharing and supporting our efforts, which created a growing buzz about our services. The outpouring of positive feedback and community support was overwhelming and inspiring. The momentum didn’t stop there. Spectrum News reached out for an interview, giving us another platform to share our journey and mission. The segment showcased our work and highlighted the difference we were making, both through city cleanups and our Trash 2 Curb services. The exposure from these media outlets gave us a significant boost, propelling our small operation into the spotlight. We began receiving more inquiries, and our client base expanded rapidly. From those early days of city cleanups to now offering essential services and becoming a well-recognized name in Cleveland, our story is one of growth, passion, and community impact. We remain dedicated to our roots—improving our neighborhoods and supporting those in need—while continuing to build on our mission. The support we’ve received from the community and the media has not only validated our efforts but has also motivated us to keep pushing forward, growing our services, and making an even bigger impact in the years to come.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
You have to stop at Big Als Diner on larchmere for a breakfast! The food is amazing, reasonably priced, and nicely portioned.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to give a big shout out to Damon Maloney and the whole News 5 Cleveland team for supporting our story and putting us on air. Also, Weldon PC for sponsoring computers and other office equipment to help us with our home office. Might Ducts Air Duct cleaning for sponsoring office furniture. Mayor Matt Burke and ward 7 for honoring us in a resolution. And the entire Garfield Heights & Cleveland community for sharing our flyers and pitching in with extra support and donations.
