Meet Joe Laber

We had the good fortune of connecting with Joe Laber and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Joe, why did you pursue a creative career?
For the JOY, I receive when the client is happy with the results.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve been blessed to have been behind the mic in the radio biz for over 30 years. This experience prepared me to start A Cup of Joe Media and open my home studio over seven years ago. While I still voice a daily radio show for WPTW, I have since branched out to coaching small brands to social media success. I love to see small businesses and nonprofits succeed online.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
*A walk at Hobart Urban Nature Preserve * Coffee chat at Purebred Coffee
* A Saturday morning stroll through Cherry Street Local Farmers Market
* Dinners at El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant, Megumi Sushi Bar, Ramen And Grill and Agave & Rye
* Dinner and driving range at Long Shots
* Concert at Hobart Arena and or APAC – Arbogast Performing Arts Center
* An evening at The Mayflower by A.M. Scott Distillery
* A visit and lunch at Haren’s Market
* Ice Cream at Ducky’s Snowballs and Ice Cream
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
International College of Broadcasting (Dayton, Ohio).
