We had the good fortune of connecting with Khrxs Rxck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khrxs, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursue a creative career because I feel the arts is one of the only industries that completely allows you to express yourself however you feel without judgement. It’s always rocky at first until you find your place, but when you do at that point nothing can stop you if and only if you don’t give up on yourself. Some people might not get it, and even laugh in your face; but at the end of the day you know what the mission is, and you can’t let discouragements like that stop you. The goal is to break through, and once you do, the rest is history. Keep doing you, stay consistent, and everything should play out as it should.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is that I’m not too afraid to express myself in my craft. Whether it’s in the form of a picture I drew, or a song I made; you’re going to see or hear what and how I feel. I’m going to be honest I don’t even consider myself even on the map as of yet, but there were still plenty of challenges that I’ve overcame, and still face to this day. Motivation, Consistency, and Discipline are the best things you can master for yourself. Im still learning how to do that, but I’ve been making progress and that’s what matters. Which is a lesson in itself. Having big expectations is great, but you have to be real with yourself as well. Are you working hard enough? Are you forcing yourself to do this? You need to ask yourself those types of questions. Life is too short. At the end of the day, I want the world to know and see who I was as an artist and be represented as such.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would actually take them out of town to be honest, I lived and worked at an amusement park for about 5 years, so Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio would be my go to #1 choice. Second would be Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. Third would land us in columbus. I went to Ohio state for some time, so I know my way around the bars, and restaurants on and around high street.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly my family. They have been there for me through thick and thin, and have helped me in the worst of times. Couldn’t imagine a better support system.
