We had the good fortune of connecting with Kris Renee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kris, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Nail Frenzy was born out of my passion for nail art and beauty. I wanted to create a brand that offered high-quality nail products and services to help people express their unique style. It took a lot of hard work, creativity, and dedication to turn that vision into reality.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Nail Frenzy sets itself apart from traditional nail salons in several ways. Firstly, our commitment to offering a safe and chemical-free environment means we avoid the use of harmful chemicals and drills, prioritizing the health and well-being of our clients. This is a distinct advantage for those who seek a more natural and eco-friendly approach to nail care.

Furthermore, our unique focus on opening a children’s spa is a one-of-a-kind feature. By providing a space tailored to kids, we create a fun and educational experience that’s different from the typical adult-oriented nail salons. We also offer children’s classes for students in grades 4 to 12, providing them with an introduction to the cosmetology and manicuring world, which can be a valuable learning experience and an opportunity to spark their interest in this field.

Overall, Nail Frenzy’s combination of safe practices, children’s spa services, and educational opportunities for young individuals makes us a standout choice in the nail and beauty industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When a friend from out of town comes to Columbus, Ohio, you can ensure they have a fantastic time by exploring the city’s diverse offerings. Start by visiting the vibrant Short North Arts District, known for its galleries, shops, and restaurants. Then, take a stroll through the historic German Village or visit the renowned Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

For sports enthusiasts, catch a game at the Ohio Stadium or Nationwide Arena, depending on the season. If your friend is into science and technology, the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) is a must-visit.

To experience nature, the beautiful Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are perfect for a leisurely walk. And of course, indulge in the local culinary scene with a wide array of dining options, from food trucks to fine dining. Columbus offers something for everyone, ensuring your friend has a memorable visit.
