Hi Shaan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always known that I wanted to start my own business. Watching business from my parents from a young age always inspired me and subconsciously turned me into the business man I am and continuing to grow as today. You’re never going to be your own boss until you start something of your own. There is a sense to starting something that is yours that nothing else brings to you. If you love what you do, working on your business doesn’t feel like work, it feels like you’re supposed to be doing it. Starting a company allow your business to be a part of you, from creative to marketing to execution. Your business is your baby. It is definitely scary at times, but I know the kind of unparalleled service our company provides and fully believe in our vision. First Edition Fleet is our first step to changing the hospitality scene here in Cincinnati. Yes, hospitality is restaurants, bars, clubs but it’s also so much more – it’s an experience. I wanted to start a transportation company because our service can help elevate any plans you already have. We focus on service. We prioritize safety and logistics but we go one step further and make sure your main focus is enjoying the moment. Our concierge team assists with reservations and planning while our professional and hospitable driver makes sure you don’t have to worry about a thing

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Education, friends, mentors, business partners all play a factor in who I am and where I am today which I am very grateful for everything have gone through and the people I have met. Above all I honestly wouldn’t be here without the support of my family. From putting up with my crazy ideas to being there to support me at my lowest, my family has always been there to back me in my vision. A couple special shout outs I have started out with my uncle Micheal Bambino who has owned several successful businesses himself and is an artist with the camera. He’s supported my vision from the start always telling me my strengths and what I have to offer. His amazing aunt Nidhi, who is an absolute bad ass business woman int he hospitality space and who practically raised me for most of my childhood. My sister definitely deserves a shoutout not just because she would kill me if I didn’t but also because she is one of my biggest supporters always believing in me and pushing me to keep going. Last my Mom and my Dad. I wouldn’t be anywhere without these two people. My mother being everything you could want and ask for in a mother. A doctor, businesswoman, philanthropist best friend, wife and the most amazing woman in the world. She’s supported me in anything I have ever wanted to do and always pushed me to be the best version of myself. I owe her the world. Lastly my father, who has taught me the ways of the world. From business to life, everyone has always said I am a younger better looking version of him. I would never have the will to start something on my own if it wasn’t for this guy.
