Meet Shyann Price | Entrepreneur and Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shyann Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shyann, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a parent I think it is very important for me to show my children that anything is possible. They are able to see how hard working and ambitious their mother is because they are usually at majority of my events for my brands. They see first hand the impact I am making in this world and I hope that they are inspired by it. Having parents who own businesses as well a real estate, creates a learning experience that is very unique and special. I teach my children how to make bath bombs and soaps, so I am teaching them the business in a way that is fun but still a learning experience.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an entrepreneur with a creative mind and spirit. I have always felt that creativity is either something you have or don’t have. Due to how my mind works, I am able to come up with unique concepts that catch interest and make people want to learn more about what I am doing. Creativity is needed for my skincare business but also in real estate. While working in fields that are over saturated, you must show others how you are different. With my skincare business I create an experience that is rare by allowing people to control how I make their products from accepting customized orders. In real estate I have to get creative about how I am marketing myself and show why they should choose me as their realtor. My biggest lesson has been to balance my creativity with logic. Its okay to be creative but still make sure the numbers make sense. The world should know that everything I have done and currently am doing comes from the passion within me. I actually care genuinely about providing unforgettable services and experiences for people.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take a friend to Euro Wafel or Crepes & Crisps for a dessert moment because those both are my favorite places for a sweet snack. We would try to attend a football or baseball game but make sure to be there for the tailgate because of course that’s where all the fun is. Euphoria is a nice place to have a bowling night with some good drinks and atmosphere. We could also do either a brunch or dinner at the RH Rooftop bar followed by a shopping break in Legacy Village.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I will shout out my family and friends who have checked on me during hard times and celebrated me during all of the good times. My village is priceless and I am grateful to have them in my life.
