We had the good fortune of connecting with Sondra Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sondra, why did you pursue a creative career?
I wanted to be an esthetician because i grew up with acne since i was 10 and was so self conscious about it growing up. i want to help other people feel good in their own skin while educating them about skincare. My other passion is coaching softball and being a pitching instructor. I grew up playing high level softball and was going to go to college to play but decided against it due to wanting to go to Esthetician school. i coach girls from ages 9-18 and it feels so rewarding to give back to the game and be a role model for girls younger then me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
i love the fact that i can do a lot of services under my esthetician license, so it never becomes boring. the road to becoming an esthetician wasn’t too hard, thank you to Geri Good at Bellezza Avanti for giving me a chance fresh out of school.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
go up to cleveland to see a sports game, eat dinner at Casa Del Rio, and go to target lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout my mom and my dad for always supporting me no matter what and helping me reach my goals i would also like to shoutout Coach Alanna Overholt, Coach Dale Dawson, and Coach Tom VanKirk for turning me into the coach and person i am today.
