Hi Stephanie, what is the most important factor behind your success / the success of your brand?
The success of YourChoice Concierge, which specializes in providing flexible, hourly administrative and personal assistance to individuals who can’t afford or don’t need a full-time assistant, is the result of several vital factors. However, if I were to pinpoint the most crucial element, it would undoubtedly be our unwavering commitment to meeting the unique needs of our clients. Throughout our six and a half years in operation, we’ve come to understand that thriving in our industry hinges on our ability to comprehend and adapt to the ever-evolving demands of our clientele. Our approach has always been client-centric, with services tailored to each individual’s specific requirements. We instill a personal touch in everything we do, and our dedicated team members are passionate about the services we provide. By taking the time to thoroughly understand the distinct needs of each client, we can offer personalized solutions that genuinely transform their lives.

In addition to this personalized approach, our mission is to make administrative and personal assistance accessible to a broader audience. Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I founded YourChoice Concierge because I’m passionate about seeing others succeed. I discovered a major vacuum for supporting successful entrepreneurs, business leaders and families to balance their professional and personal demands. After analyzing the limitations of basic clerical support, impersonal on-line support and other options I decided it was time to fill this gap by starting YourChoice Concierge. I pride myself on excellent customer service and my focus on client relations makes working with YourChoice Concierge a unique and high class experience. We take a structured approach to partnering clients with someone they’re able to form a valuable relationship with. Partnerships are based on these important factors–specific skill-sets, experience or other predetermined requirements, schedule/availability & personality. I know first hand that quality-time and busy-time balance is critical both professionally and personally. By offering flexible assistance we can give more individuals the tools they need to be successful and live life their way. We  cover a wide scope ready to help with long-term assistance, last minute needs and temporary support. Anything from growing your business by calling leads or creating processes & procedures to making your life easier by running errands, and everything in between. Getting YourChoice Concierge where it is today definitely hasn’t been easy. I’ve sacrificed a lot of time with family & friends the first few years. I essentially had no personal life, working a lot of unpaid hours and late nights to prepare the business for growth. As difficult as it was getting started, it was worth it. I’ve seen the work pay off over time and the business continuously grow. If I hadn’t prepared ahead of time by creating systems and processes that helped us as we expanded, it would have made growing the company a lot more challenging and less successful. Processes and procedures can be time consuming to develop but once completed they will save you time, help eliminate errors & make you more productive. Another challenge I had to overcome early on was finding the right business software to help automate the processes I’d worked so hard on. After spending a lot of time researching, scheduling demos and budgeting, I found the perfect fit. The business would not be where it is today without Zoho One. It helped connect and automate a lot of our routine processes and has significantly increased productivity so I can focus on continuing to grow the business. Not to mention it’s the most affordable, all encompassing business software out there. I actually ended up becoming a Zoho One partner because of how much it helped my business and it was natural for me to share it with other small business owners and entrepreneurs. Last but certainly not least, I had to learn to delegate productively. Deciding what not to do is just as important as deciding what to do! I had to tell myself the same thing I’d been telling our clients…you have to delegate to elevate. As much as I wanted to, I couldn’t get it all done myself. You have to be able to let go of some things in order to grow and scale. I started by delegating just a few things and as the business continues to grow, I continue to delegate!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc. In your view what are some of the most fun, interesting, exciting people, places or things to check out?
If I were planning a week-long trip to Cincinnati, Ohio, to show my best friend the best time ever, I would probably do the following:

Day 1: Visit the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, one of the oldest and most renowned zoos in the country. Enjoy a meal at Taste of Belgium in Over-the-Rhine for their famous Belgian waffles and other delicious dishes. Explore the historic Over-the-Rhine (OTR) neighborhood, known for its beautiful architecture, art galleries, and boutique shops. Savor some of the best barbecue at Eli’s BBQ in the East End.

Day 2: Take a walk along the scenic Cincinnati Riverfront, where you can visit the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Head to Skyline Chili for a taste of Cincinnati’s famous chili. Explore the Cincinnati Art Museum in Eden Park, showcasing an impressive collection of art from various cultures. Enjoy farm-to-table dining at Bouquet Restaurant in Covington, just across the river in Kentucky.

Day 3: Take a tour of the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal, an architectural gem home to museums like the Cincinnati History Museum and the Cincinnati Children’s Museum. Try the gourmet hot dogs at Senate Restaurant in OTR. Explore Fountain Square, a lively public space with events, shopping, and dining options. Satisfy our Italian cravings at Nicola’s Ristorante in Over-the-Rhine.

Day 4: Head to Cincinnati’s Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park to enjoy the lush botanical gardens. Grab a bite at Taste of Belgium Bistro for a different Belgian-inspired menu. Visit Cincinnati Music Hall and catch a show if there’s one scheduled. Experience modern American cuisine at Sotto, an underground Italian restaurant with a unique atmosphere.

Day 5: Take a day trip to Cincinnati Nature Center or Cincinnati Observatory Center to connect with nature and learn about the cosmos. Enjoy a picnic at one of the beautiful parks like Ault Park. Explore the historic Mount Adams neighborhood with its scenic views and charming streets. Dine at the iconic Montgomery Inn for their mouthwatering ribs.

Day 6: Visit Cincinnati’s Findlay Market, Ohio’s oldest continuously operated public market, and sample a variety of local foods. Have a unique dining experience at The Eagle, known for its fried chicken. Take a leisurely stroll along the Ohio Riverfront, visit Smale Riverfront Park, and perhaps ride the Roebling Suspension Bridge. Enjoy a meal at Boca, offering contemporary European cuisine.

Day 7: Head to Terry’s Turf Club, a quirky burger joint known for its massive burgers. Visit the Cincinnati Brewing Heritage Trail for a taste of the city’s brewing history. End our trip with dinner at The Precinct, a historic steakhouse in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House.

This itinerary covers a mix of Cincinnati’s cultural attractions, dining experiences, and natural beauty, ensuring an unforgettable time in the City.

My success has been a collaborative achievement, and I owe it to the incredible support and contributions from various corners of my life. My family has been the foundation of my journey, offering unwavering encouragement and belief in my pursuits. My son has served as a constant source of motivation, reminding me of the importance of resilience and determination. My friends have provided both emotional support and valuable perspectives, guiding me through challenges and celebrating milestones. My dedicated team members have been instrumental in translating our vision into reality, working tirelessly alongside me to drive our mission forward.
