We had the good fortune of connecting with Stille Skygger and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stille, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want my legacy to be a constellation—a map of light guiding young artists who feel like they are creating in the dark.

I come from a place where dreams were whispered, not spoken aloud. Where art was not a career, but a quiet rebellion. I was just 9 when I first picked up a pencil and began drawing what I couldn’t yet say. That act—small, almost invisible—became my way of carving out space in a world that didn’t offer me one.

Years later, during the stillness of a global pandemic, I founded my art group—not just to share my work, but to become a lighthouse for others like me. Artists who were unheard, unseen, uninvited. We built platforms—magazines, books, exhibitions—not as products, but as windows into lives, stories, and emotions the world needed to feel.

I want to be remembered as someone who broke silence with color, with courage, and who turned their own struggle into a vessel for others to rise. If my work can awaken one hidden artist, if my voice can echo in the heart of one person who believes their art is a language worth speaking—then that is the legacy I leave behind.

Not a monument, but a movement. Not a name, but a door.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I didn’t arrive at this point through an easy path—my journey has been long, uneven, and deeply personal. Sometimes, my background felt like a burden. Other times, it became my greatest strength. It shaped how I see the world, and more importantly, how I want to help others see themselves.

I started my company during the height of COVID. While the world was shutting down, I was building something—not just a business, but a lifeline for artists who felt invisible. It was incredibly hard. I had no investors, no safety net—just vision, persistence, and an unwavering sense of purpose.

And then, I finally found the right co-workers, partners, and team—people who believed in the same mission. Together, we began to build what is now our company—something far greater than any one person could create alone.

What sets us apart is that we are not driven by trends or markets—we are driven by mission. We exist to amplify unheard voices, to celebrate raw, real creativity, and to connect artists from all walks of life with the world they deserve to be part of. Through publications, exhibitions, and digital platforms, we fight for authenticity over polish, and meaning over metrics.

But I didn’t do it alone. Our team is the heart of this movement—dedicated, talented, and deeply passionate individuals who believed in this vision from the beginning. Their courage, creativity, and relentless support have shaped everything we’ve accomplished. Without them, this wouldn’t be possible.

I’m most proud of the community we’ve built together—a global circle of artists who feel seen, supported, and inspired. Every story we’ve published, every artist we’ve uplifted, is a reminder of why we do this.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned? You don’t have to come from privilege to create something powerful—you just have to refuse to give up.

What I want the world to know is this: our brand – “Marvelous Art Group” is more than a business—it’s a movement. One born from struggle, built with heart, and driven by a team that believes in the transformative power of art. And we’re only getting started!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit, I’d totally take them to some awesome art spots where they could soak up everything from modern masterpieces to classic gems. We’d hit all the must-see places!

We’d start with some famous art museums like MoMA and The Met, where they could check out everything from timeless classics to the latest modern pieces. Then, I’d show them some lively galleries that feature fresh, up-and-coming artists and some cool experimental work.

We’d also wander around neighborhoods known for incredible street art and colorful murals—like outdoor galleries that really bring the city’s creative vibe to life. To get a behind-the-scenes peek, we’d visit artist studios and creative hubs, maybe even catch an open studio event to see how the magic happens.

And no art trip would be complete without chilling at cozy cafés and trendy spots where local artists and creatives hang out—perfect for relaxing, chatting, and soaking up inspiration. At night, we might hit up some immersive art shows or interactive exhibitions that totally push the boundaries.

All in all, it’d be a week full of inspiration, good energy, and unforgettable moments surrounded by the city’s amazing art scene.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh, 100%—this journey hasn’t been a solo ride. First off, I’ve got to shout out my team. They’re the ones who believed in the vision when it was just an idea, stuck through the tough moments, and helped build something real. I wouldn’t be here without their creativity, loyalty, and heart.

I also owe a lot to the incredible community of artists, mentors, and friends who showed up with support, advice, and honest feedback when I needed it most. And honestly, even the doubters deserve a little credit—they pushed me to keep going and prove what’s possible!

So yeah, this shoutout goes to everyone who showed up, lifted me up, challenged me, and kept it real. Couldn’t have done it without you.
