I am a woman that is in recovery from substances. I have 15 years of sobriety, I was incarcerated for 2 years, from 2006 and released 2008 due to my addiction. When I was in prison I promised God in the name of Jesus I would assist women no matter what they were recovering from with living a productive life because God granted me another chance to get my life back on track, so this is why I organized a non profit organization to assist women with there needs. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
