We had the good fortune of connecting with Storm Stylez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Storm, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I feel like my determination to be my best self at all times contributes to my effectiveness. Also, I have made it a habit to start or finish a song daily. That way I’m staying focused and coming up with new ideas. I like to work out to start my day that’s honestly where I come up with most of my ideas for songs. Those are the habits I feel contribute to my effectiveness.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a rap artist but currently in the process of becoming something much bigger. Something that sets me apart is my word play and delivery through music. I got where I am today by really taking the time to figure out what I want out of life and where I want to end up. Lessons I’ve learned along the way are to stay focused, stay grounded, and to not let life get me down when things are a little tough at the moment. I would like the world to know that anything is possible with strong belief in yourself!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There’s a lot of fun places in Columbus so, first I’d like to grab some great food from Cut132 in Easton and then have some fun bowling and playing vintage games at Pins Mechanical. Next I’d definitely like to visit the various shops, restaurants, and bars on High St.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my beloved family, friends, and family. Without their love and support I wouldn’t have anywhere near as much success as I have. I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my producer and cousin Tha Audio Unit also. Without his guidance, mentorship and support I would be lost in this business. Also, a big shoutout my son Jaxson, that’s my everyday motivation to keep striving and moving forward.
