What habits do you feel helped you succeed?

There is a wealth of research that indicates that certain habits can help increase your productivity, creativity, and/or drive. So, we thought we’d reach out to respected members of our community and ask them what habits they feel helped them succeed.

I really don’t feel like I have succeeded, yet, but I think the main habit that has gotten me as far as I am is my persistence. There are plenty of months where sales are slow and I’m not sure how I will pay my bills or afford groceries. The state of our economy has been devastating for many small businesses selling luxury handmade items like mine. I just… don’t give up. I have a habit of telling myself I will find a way, something will come through, etc. I keep trying my hardest and putting in all the time and energy I can spare until I am able to make ends meet. In the entrepreneurial world. It is very easy to get distracted by the smallest thing. Even the most focused individual can be seen daydreaming about the numbers they are wanting to achieve this year, or the next big move they are looking to make. To avoid these distractions I have created a few rules, and regulations to prevent this from happening to me. First, thing I do after my prayer time is being as organized as I possibly can. Emails, texts, conference calls, and notes. Are all placed in specific areas for for a covenant follow up method of 24 to 48 hours.
