Deciding to start a business is an unusual decision. It’s often considered irrational and yet for many it’s the best decision they’ve ever made. So we asked folks to think back to when they were starting their businesses and to tell us about their decision making process.

Becoming a producer and DJ was more of a happenstance for me vs something I planned and thought out honestly. I always loved what I did, but I never stepped out and shown anything I had made. Honestly, I tend to dive into ventures without a clear plan in place. When I launched my bakery from my home kitchen, I didn’t have high expectations.
